Intro: Adventurous Pets are #PinnacleHealthyPets

Jada looking out over Lake Conasauga

When it comes to the outdoors, I try to get out as much as possible with my girls, Jada and Bailey.

We live on 9 1/2 acres so we can always go and explore right in our backyard and play with our agility set!

Our top favorite places to have adventures are the lake (of course) and Berry College!

Berry College is the world's largest campus and where I used to go to school for a major in Animal Science before I dropped out because of migraines. They have walking paths, trails, and large fields which are great for recall training. I like to bring our huge 50 ft. leash and have lots of fun!

The lake we go to is not too far from our house and called Lake Conasauga. It has a nice walking path around that is about one a half miles with lots and lots of geese! Jada loves to wade in the lake and Bailey loves watching all the birds. It is the perfect spot to exercise all of us!

To keep up with our outings, my girls need to have the right nutrition, and you know I always look for grain-free dog food with quality and limited ingredients. One dog food brand has recently switched over to grain-free in May 2015. Allow me to introduce Pinnacle®!

Pinnacle has been around since 1998 and prides itself on natural holistic dog food made here in the U.S.A. in their California plant. What exactly is holistic? I did a little digging around and from my own understanding when it comes to dog food is that the ingredients are there to take care of the whole body. Instead of treating your dog's problems and conditions afterward, holistic dog food like Pinnacle aims to prevent these problems from the get-go.

Some quality holistic ingredients that Pinnacle has been using over the years are sweet potatoes, pumpkin, cottage cheese, kelp, blueberries, flax seed, and quinoa. You know I love that ingredient list!

So why did Pinnacle decide to go grain-free? Grains seem to be such a problem for the majority of dogs whether it is allergies or digestion problems, it is just better to avoid them in my opinion. To have the holistic ingredients combined with grain-free is just so great and makes the Pinnacle brand dog food so much better for the health of your pup!

Besides promoting holistic health with limited ingredients, Pinnacle has lots of other great features as well:
  • Promotes general joint health and overall muscle tone
  • Contains fiber to encourage healthy digestion and small stool
  • Contains antioxidants to support a healthy immune system
  • Recipes are natural, healthy, and use high-quality proteins

Here are the dog food recipes that they have:
