Review: PawNosh Pet Bowls

The Chesnut Mutts PawNosh Pet Bowls Review

["The Chesnut Mutts" were not paid for this review. The product was given to us via a giveaway. All opinion are genuinely mine and we would not share a product that we did not fully believe in. Please do not use any images without permission.]

I  have heard about PawNosh over the last year from various blogs and social media. Little did I know just how awesome this company actually is!

PawNosh makes glass pet bowls out of recycled bottles and they produce them right here in the USA! Not only are they beautiful, but they are durable as well.

We received a Celery Cubby Bowl from the Advent4Dogs giveaway hosted by Kol's Notes. The bowl came wrapped beautifully and safely, I just couldn't believe my eyes when I held the work of art in my hands!

This style of bowl is suggested for cats and dogs under 25 pounds. They also have the Cubby Deluxe bowl which is for bigger dogs. There are also three different colors: Aqua, Celery, and Tangerine.

PawNosh Bowl details

I just love the feel of this bowl! It is pretty heavy (3.2 lbs or the weight of three Delmars :P), but what helps is the little notch on bottom where you can place your hand to either put it down or pick it up.

"Why is this bowl empty?!"
Jada really likes these bowls especially because she is slightly allergic to plastic. Glass is a great product to use for pet bowls because of it being non-toxic and it is infinitely recyclable. Just don't put these bowls in the microwave or freezer, the glass is not tempered so you could end up with shattered glass on your hands! Otherwise, PawNosh bowls have a lifetime warranty :).

You can buy these bowls over at PawNosh's website. Cubby Bowls are $55 and Deluxe Cubby Bowls are $74

In a nutshell...

  • PawNosh pet bowls are made from recycled bottles
  • Handcrafted in the USA
  • Durable
  • Two sizes, $55 and $75
  • Three colors, aqua, celery, and tangerine
  • Great for pets with allergies
  • Can buy them on PawNosh's website, or in our Amazon store here.
  • Would be awesome for small pets. It is heavy enough that it wouldn't get knocked over

I would replace all my bowls with PawNosh ones if I could, but alas I do not have enough money. If I could, I would! Since there are no other bowls to really compare, I think with the craftsmanship that goes into these bowls and the lifetime guarantee, that the price is completely fair. Where else are you gonna find this great of a bowl?

  2. We love them bowls and use em too! One thing we lub most about Paw Nosh bowls is that they make us slowdown a bit - I think we notice their thickness and that it contains all of the food without spilling, and so we calm down and enjoy our meals!

  4. Beautiful bowl! I don't use any plastic bowls for my kitties. All of our food bowls are ceramic, and our water bowls are ceramic (for one) and stainless steel (for the other). These bowls harbor a lot fewer germs than plastic ones do.
Thanks for sharing about these awesome pet bowls!

  9. I love idea and think purple should be the next color in their line-up! I think the notch for lifting is an ingenious idea. I am not sure if it would last in my house, only because Delta likes to smack her bowl around and flip it over when she is hungry. She has moved around a full, large dog sized water bowl so the extra weight probably wouldn't save it from some abuse!
